As promised, today we'll look at some demotivating factors for different behavioral styles.
The following are some demotivating factors for D Type individuals: - "You shouldn't do that!" or "You cannot do that!" are statements that high D type individuals don't take very well, especially when they already made their minds up of completing a task. They will, more than likely, go ahead and do it anyway. - Any circumstance where D's are not allowed to take control of their activities; e.g. as a result of micro-management, controling spouse, controling parent, etc. - Slow, non-dynamic environments (monotonous, repetitive work; having as coworkers mostly S and C type individuals; etc.) - Working as a subordinate for a slow-decision-maker, overly-cautious leader
